When enabled, this allows an org unit to use anonymous marking in Assignments. Anonymous marking helps prevent unconscious bias during evaluation by hiding learner identity information. If an assignment uses supported third-party tools (via the LTI Asset Processor), Brightspace also shares the assignment’s anonymity status so the tool can honor anonymous evaluation workflows (provider-dependent). |
