The Users tool enables you to:
- Create and manage users and user collections
- Merge a user's awards and enrollments into another user
- Enroll and unenroll users
- Deactivate and reactivate users
- End all active sessions for users
- View user and role statistics
You can create and manage users with the Bulk User Management tool. You can also import multiple users using SIS integration at the beginning of the D2L integration process. Integration with an SIS requires consultation with a D2L Integration Specialist. You can also access the Bulk Auditor Management tool through the Users tool.
Finally, you can create individual users through an org unit's Classlist tool (if you have the appropriate permissions) or allow users to self-register in the system through the Self Registration tool.
Requirements
The following are required to use the Users tool:

Once you have the required Users role permissions, you can navigate to Admin Tools > Users to access the Users tool.

- Select from the following tabs in the Users tool:
- Users
- User Collections
- Merge Users
- Bulk User Management
- Bulk Auditor Management
- From the Users tab, you can click New User to create a new user and enroll them into org units as a specific role. Refer to Create an individual user for more information.
- Click Statistics to review total users, active users, and more.
- Search for specific users.
- Select a specific user from the list and choose actions to apply to that user, including:
- Email
- Instant Messages
- Print
- Enrol
- Reset Password
- More Actions
