Brightspace Apps permissions

The following table describes Brightspace Apps permissions settings and their expected behavior.

Setting	Expected Behavior
View Brightspace Apps	Applicable Org Unit Type: Organization Allows users to: View Brightspace Apps Visible to users: The Admin Tools > Brightspace Extensibility > Apps tab and app details. Also Required: N/A
Manage Brightspace App deployments	Applicable Org Unit Type: Organization Allows users to: Add, update, and remove deployments of apps. Visible to users: The Manage link for each available Brightspace App. Also Required: View Brightspace Apps
Install Brightspace Apps	Applicable Org Unit Type: Organization Allows users to: Install apps listed in the Find Apps list. Visible to users: The Install App button in a dialog after selecting an app from the Find Apps list. Also Required: View Brightspace Apps
Create and Manage Brightspace Apps	Applicable Org Unit Type: Organization Allows users to: Install apps from the Find Apps list, publish apps, and create or edit local apps. It also includes the ability to manage app deployments and components. Visible to users: The Install App button in the dialog after selecting an app from the Find Apps list, as well as the Create App and Publish actions within the Apps tool. Also Required:<![CDATA[ ]]>View Brightspace Apps (to access the tool) and External Learning Tools > Manage LTI Tools (required for full functionality of installing and managing apps)
