Set an expiry date for your terms and conditions
- From the Admin Tools menu, click Terms and Conditions.
- On the Expiry Settings tab, do one of the following:
- To prompt users to accept the terms and conditions when new terms are created, select No expiry.
- To prompt users to accept the terms and conditions on a fixed date, select Fixed Date and enter a date and time.
- To prompt users to accept the terms and conditions at a relative date, select Relative Date and enter a number of days after which you'd like users to be re-prompted.
- Click Save.
Add floating accept and decline buttons
By default, the accept and decline buttons are located at the bottom of the terms and conditions text. By selecting a floating set of buttons, the buttons are visible and clickable while the user reads the terms and conditions message.
Note: This feature is only available to organizations using the Classic theme. Floating buttons do not display if Brightspace Daylight Experience is enabled for your organization.
- From the Admin Tools menu, click Terms and Conditions.
- From the Admin Settings tab, select the Show Floating Accept/Decline Buttons check box.
- Click Save.
Set a redirect URL for when a user declines the terms and conditions
By default, the Terms and Conditions tool redirects the user to the login page if they decline. You can set a different URL if you would like to redirect them to a different page
- From the Admin Tools menu, click Terms and Conditions.
- On the Admin Settings tab, select the Logout Redirect On Decline check box.
- In the Logout Redirect Url field, enter the URL that you want users to be sent to.
- Click Save.
