The View Copy Course History page shows the history of course copying events in Brightspace. You can filter the events by Source course, Destination course and by Date Range. The page displays all successful and unsuccessful course copy events according to the criteria selected. Users may also download the results of the query as a .txt file.
To access the View Copy Course History page
- From the Admin Tools menu, click View Copy Course History.
Copy Course History Statuses and Log messages
The View Course Copy History page provides you with Status and Logs columns to help you understand whether your course is successfully copied.
Bulk Course Copy statuses:
- Copy Completed (checkmark icon): This indicates that your course and all selected course components are successfully copied and the process is complete.
- Copy Completed with Error(s) (warning icon): This indicates that your course finished copying but some selected course components did not copy successfully.
You can also click View Logs to review details about the copy process including error messages.
Access the Copy Course Components History page
The Copy Course Components History page displays the history of course copying events for an individual course offering.
To access the Copy Course Components History page
- From the Course Admin menu, click Import / Export / Copy Components.
- Under the Copy Components from another Org Unit section, click View History. View the status indicator on Copy Course Components History when a course is queued for copying.
