How is the Brightspace Community different than the Brightspace platform I use every day?
The Brightspace you are used to using for education purposes is what we like to call the Brightspace Learning Environment. The Learning Environment is where you learn, teach, or administrate, depending on your role within your organization or school.

Ask the Community!
The Brightspace Community houses a great network of knowledgeable individuals who are ready and willing to answer your Brightspace questions.
Click the button labelled Ask A Question on the Community homepage. There's a great chance there are others wondering the exact same thing!
Contact Your IT Help Desk
We strongly encourage you to Ask a Question, but if you feel you require support outside of the Community, please contact your institution's IT (Information Technology) Help Desk. If they are not able to assist you directly, they will be able to submit a support ticket on your behalf.
You can usually find your IT Help Desk email or phone contact information on your institution's website. They will be able to lead you on the correct support path, even if you're not quite sure what to do!
What if I am having trouble logging in to my Brightspace Community account or have a question or concern about the Community itself?

Where do I find the ASC Homepage or submit a case as an ASC?
Once you have registered for a Single Sign on Account for the Community, log in and then access the ASC Homepage from the new Community by following these steps:
1. Log in to the Community.
2. Select the ASC Homepage button from the Community homepage to connect to the ASC Homepage.
