Summary
In Brightspace, using Assignments, when Anonymous Marking is enabled and the configuration variable d2l.Tools.AnonymousMarking.UseOrgDefinedId is set to ON, instructors are expected to see the Org Defined ID in the pop-up notification when a submission requires attention (e.g., due to an ungraded rubric criterion). However, the pop-up still displays “Anonymous (N)” instead of the Org Defined ID.
Additionally, on the Assignment Evaluation page, the name is shown as “Anonymous User X” instead of the Org Defined ID—except for users with the User Information Privacy (UIP) > See Name for Anonymized Activities permission.
This issue applies to (but may not be limited to) Brightspace 20.25.09.
