About D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace

D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace consists of Lumi Question, Lumi Idea, and Lumi Outcome, which allow you to generate quiz questions, assignment ideas, discussion ideas, and learning outcome alignment suggestions using AI technology to improve your workflow efficiency. Tip: D2L recommends submitting content in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Dutch. You can enter content in other languages; however, if you do, D2L Lumi Pro defaults to English when generating output.

Requirements

The following are required to use Lumi Pro for Brightspace:

To see D2L Lumi in your organization, your administrator must make Generative AI available in Organization Tools.
To see and use D2L Lumi, refer to the D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace permissions topic to review the necessary permissions.
D2L Lumi must be configured at the Course Offering level for it to be available in courses. Refer to the D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace configuration variables topic to review the necessary configuration variables.
