The All-New Creator+ package is a content authoring package that provides opportunities for users to create highly desirable, engaging, and delightful experiences in minutes. By leveraging existing workflows with easy-to-use tools, creators can build dynamic content and media experiences that appeal to the love of learning, improve comprehension, and achieve high engagement for instructors and learners. The All-New Creator+ package allows instructors and course creators to build engaging and interactive learning materials directly in Brightspace, improving learner engagement and simplifying grading and reporting.
The All-New Creator+ package integrates D2L's existing Creator+ tools with H5P Premium, providing up to 50 new interactive content types, advanced AI-powered content generation, and enhanced analytics capabilities, all embedded within the Brightspace ecosystem.
In addition to the existing Creator+ features, the All-New Creator+ package builds on the Creator+ Practices functionality with H5P equivalents that can now be graded within the Brightspace Grade book.

Important: The All-New Creator+ package is an evolution of the former Creator+ package and is available as an add-on to Brightspace. If you previously purchased the Creator+ package, contact your account representative for access to a limited set of H5P Interactives for the duration of your subscription, or upgrade Creator+ to the All-New Creator+ for full access to H5P solutions.

All-New Creator+ offers the following tools for content creators to enhance their course content:
- Insert Elements: enables users to easily and seamlessly create dynamic content and chunk concepts following instructional design best practices. Refer to Use Creator+ Elements for details.
- Practices: to deepen comprehension and reinforce concepts using formative practice questions in Content Page topics. Refer to Use Creator+ Practices for details.
- D2L Lumi for Practices: an AI-powered tool that helps generate interactive Practice questions from course content. Refer to the Generate Practice questions using D2L Lumi for Creator+ section of Use Creator+ Practices for details.
- Capture App: Advanced Media that uses Capture App to quickly capture screen and video learning assets that can be automatically captioned, edited, and used across your courses. Refer to Create a presentation with Capture Web for details.
- Content Styler: Creator+ content templates that you can easily edit with Creator+ tools to get started quickly. Adminstrators can use Content Styler to centrally style content using a default cascading style sheet. Refer your administrator to Setting up Content Styler for details.
- Layout editor: Create panels that add structure and help organize your course content. Layouts can be used with any element as part of Insert Element. Refer to Use Creator+ Layouts for details.
- H5P Interactives: H5P (HTML5 Package) lets users build Interactives to create engaging interactive content in their course. Creators can use Interactives to create or add existing unique HTML content. Refer to Use H5P Interactives for details.

Note: The Brightspace Editor Insert Element and Practices support using the file language attribute to build content in the language of your choice. The language you set appears in content as well as on buttons to expand content, viewing solutions and scores on Practices, and ARIA labels. To use the language attribute in content, ensure the d2l.Tools.Content.ApplyPageLangAttribute is set. |
Add H5P Interactives as an existing Creator+ customer
As an existing Creator+ customer, you can explore a limited set of H5P Interactives during a trial period. This trial allows you to familiarize yourself with the H5P interface and explore features that enable you to create content tasks such as the following:
- Prompting learners to complete missing words or phrases in a sentence.
- Allowing learners to select one or more correct answers from a list.
- Prompting learners to indicate whether a statement is true or false.
- Listing items that learners can drag to appropriate locations to match, categorize, or sequence.

Important: Existing Creator+ customers can upgrade to the full All-New Creator+ package for an additional cost to gain access to the 50 H5P Interactives and enhanced analytics. For more information, contact your D2L Client Sales Executive or Account Manager.

To insert H5P content
- From the module where you want to create content, click Create New > Page.
- In Brightspace Editor, click Creator+ Authoring Tools > Interactives.
- In the Insert Interactives dialog, select the interactive you want to add to your Page.
- Click Insert.
- Review your content and click Save and Close.
