Once your administrator has set up Integrity Advocate for your D2L Brightspace instance, you can add Integrity Advocate to any Quiz, Assignment, or Content activity in your course with just a few clicks.
Add the Integrity Advocate Widget to Homepages
NOTE: If you don’t have access to Homepage Management, contact your administrator to enable Integrity Advocate on your desired homepage.

From the Admin Tools menu, select Homepage Management.

Select the homepage to which you wish to add the Integrity Advocate widget.

NOTE: D2L recommends a full width display (Height 1000) for the Integrity Advocate widget. If you’re only using the Basic layout do the following:

Click Change Layout.

Select Basic Plus.

Click Update.

Click Add Widgets in the full width section and search for the Integrity Advocate tool.

Select the Integrity Advocate LTI 1.3 widget and click Add.

Click Save and Close.
Using the Integrity Advocate Widget
There are four tabs within the Integrity Advocate LTI 1.3 widget.
Participants: This tab is used to search for participant review results for all of the activities within this course that have Integrity Advocate enabled.
Activities: This tab is used to manage the Integrity Advocate settings for each activity in your course. Enable/disable, create a grade item, and select rules for each activity.
Admin: This tab is used to update the administrative settings (contact info, etc) and review credit consumption details.
News: This tab is where you can get all of the latest updates on new Integrity Advocate features and upcoming/past releases.
Enable Integrity Advocate on an Activity
To enable Integrity Advocate on a course activity:

Within the Integrity Advocate LTI 1.3 widget, click on the Activities tab.

Find the activity for which you wish to enable Integrity Advocate proctoring.

Check the box for Enable Integrity Advocate for the desired activity.

If you wish to use a grade item, check the box Use Grade Item for the desired activity.

NOTE: This creates a new grade item updated by Integrity Advocate with a review status. Integrity Advocate does not change any grade items you may have set up.

If you see a dropdown list in the last column of the table, please select which Level you wish to set for the activity.

Be aware that the cost of each Level can be different and if you are unsure which Level to use, contact your Administrator user.

Click Select Rules and check the boxes for the desired rules for the activity.

Note: Rules available to each Level are different.

You can select all rules available to the applicable Level or just the ones you want.

Click Submit.
