Brightspace Parent & Guardian platform requirements

Brightspace Parent & Guardian web application

To use the Brightspace Parent & Guardian web application, parents and guardians require the following:

Brightspace Parent & Guardian must be currently enabled in the school's Brightspace.
The URL of the school's Brightspace.
A Brightspace username and password provided by the school's Brightspace administrator.
A supported browser
on their desktop computer or device.

Brightspace Pulse app

To use the Brightspace Pulse app, parents and guardians require the following:

The Brightspace Parent & Guardian web application must be currently enabled in the school's Brightspace.
The URL or name of the school's Brightspace.
A Brightspace username and password provided by the school's Brightspace administrator.
The Brightspace Pulse app, downloaded from any global Google Play™ store or Apple App Store®.

This is the paper note and pencil icon used for notes.

Note: Depending on how your device is configured, the mobile app may update automatically, or you may have to manually check for new versions.

Brightspace platform support

Brightspace Pulse is compatible with Brightspace platform 10.5.1 and higher. By default, Brightspace Pulse is turned on for use in your organization.
