You can edit availability and due dates for lessons, topics, and assessable activities, including quizzes, assignments, and discussions, directly from Content. Start and end dates specify when learners can access a topic or module. If you set a start, end, or due date for a topic or module, it appears on the Upcoming Events page and the Agenda view in the Calendar tool.
Availability dates and due dates appear in the table of contents underneath the lesson (module) or activity. By default, content outside of its availability dates is hidden and is not displayed on the Table of Contents. To display content outside of its availability dates, enable the following configuration variable: d2l.Tools.Content.DisplayContentOutsideofAvailabilityDates.
Supported activities with a due date or end date appear in the Work to do Widget. By default, the widget shows activities due or ending in the next two weeks and overdue activities from the previous 12 weeks. For more information, refer to About the Work to Do widget.
