What are tags? Why should I tag my community questions? If you've got questions about what tags are, how they work, and why they are valuable, you've landed in the right place!
Tags are an important component within our community. They have a few main purposes that we've outlined within this article.
What Do Tags Do?
Once we understand what Brightspace topics are being asked most frequently, we use that data to create new resources and partner with the right people to host events, all based on member feedback and community input.
Tags Also:
- Help us to review incoming questions that are specific to Brightspace Tools and to respond to increased questions about specific workflows
- Help members find answers to current, FAQs about key tools
How Can I Use Tags?
When asking a question in community, you have the option to 'Show popular tags'.
Once the 'Show popular tags' is selected, a list of tags is displayed that you can choose from. Please select the tags that best describe the content of your question.
What Tags are Available in Community?
See a complete list of available tags here and select one to view all community questions that have been tagged with that topic.
