We have some exciting news to share about PIE! Get all the details on what this means for your PIE submissions and how you can voice what's top of mind at your place of Teaching and Learning from the following article describing the first key milestone on the journey.
Hi! I know you can use HTML to "mark" text and have it be highlighted in a pale yellow, but can we get an option to use text highlighting? It would be great to be able to choose colors and have the contrast checker like there is when you change text color. Thanks!
Hi Folks, Apparently there are big changes afoot on the BrightSpace PIE. As a result of these changes, posts marked as "Not Planned" will not be migrated to the new platform. According to D2L, these ideas will be retained on their internal system to inform future innovation, but will no longer appear on the PIE. So, in the…
Hello. I noticed the "D2L Product Idea Exchange Statuses" page within the Brightspace Community site (https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/1447-d2l-product-idea-exchange-statuses) doesn't include an explanation of the "Feedback Review Window" status. Would someone from D2L please revise this PIE statuses page?…
As I understand it, the PIE is being migrated to some new platform and we have been asked to comment on any posts marked "Feedback Review Window" to indicate that we want particular activities to be migrated. Does this mean that anything marked as "Not Planned" will not be migrated? If not, this is an issue for me. Over…
Have I just not noticed the colours on the PIE before? This is how “Status” colours are currently allocated: I would say there are some colour choice problems and suggest the following changes: • “Not Planned” should definitely not (a) be green and (b) be the same colour as “In Planning”. Make it red like “Closed”. •…
Hello. Do I need a different login and password to access the Product Idea Exchange than the ones I use to access Brightspace Community? If so, how do I set those?
Hello, Having experienced a recent issue in my Brightspace classroom, I figured I should mention it here to see if there is a solution somewhere in the platform. When an instructor in Brightspace creates an assignment for a group, there is no way for a student who is not registered in a group to see if that assignment…
I would like to have the ability to highlight text in students' discussions when I am assessing them, so they know, readily, what was useful about their discussion post. Is there presently a way to do this? If not, it would be great to add this (it would make my grading process much easier for online courses).
When I tried to access PIE from under Resources, I was redirected to another page that says "Unavailable Quicklink". I'm already logged in and can access other links under Resources.
