What is the Champions program?
The D2L Champions Program is about recognizing you as the innovative learning leader you are. We want to celebrate your achievements, broaden your impact and empower you to shape the future of learning technology. If you are looking to share your story, learn from others and earn rewards, you’re in the right place. Champions participate in challenges to earn points that can be redeemed for passes to D2L-sponsored events, creative and advisory services, gift cards, swag, and more.

Challenges
New challenges are shared regularly—“choose your own adventure” style. You choose the activities that interest you.
A few examples include:
- Read the latest white paper or blog.
- Share a review of your Brightspace experience.
- Tell us about your favorite part of partnering with D2L.
- Volunteer for speaking opportunities at events.
- Guest author a blog post on best practices or tips and tricks.
Who Can Join?
We encourage anyone who uses Brightspace within their organization to join. Our current Champions include educators, administrators, IT professionals and more. Your voice is important; we can’t wait to hear your story and learn from your experiences!
How do I earn points within the Community?
We have a variety of ways that Brightspace Community members can earn recognition through their participation within the Community. Our focus is on connecting, sharing, and growing our knowledge together.
Learning Center Contribution ⭐️ 50,000
Connect with the Community team to collaborate and create a learning resource in the Brightspace Learning Center!
Our Community is here to share knowledge with one another, and many of our members have done so by showcasing how they use Brightspace to enhance learning experiences.

Are you always looking for opportunities to help others? Connect with peers and newcomers? We're keeping an eye out for the top contributors every year!
Community Communicators are those who are superstars in connecting and sharing knowledge in the Brightspace Community, whether through Discussions or Groups. You can learn more about how to contribute to discussion and groups.
Fusion Lab Participation activity ⭐️ 500
Every year, D2L hosts Fusion! It is our big celebration of learning and all things in Brightspace. With each Fusion there will be Labs.
Labs are dedicated spaces, virtual or in-person, where you can connect with our teams to provide feedback, test out new features, and get to know us.

There are many ways to connect, share, and learn more in the Brightspace Community. One area is our social groups! Groups are created to cater to specific interests or colleagues.
Superstars are those who are actively contributing to their groups, through active posting, answering questions, attending events, and sharing their knowledge!
Community Builder Badge ⭐️ 500
Our Community is constantly growing, with your feedback! We want to recognize the time and effort Community members put in to providing feedback and testing.
The Community Build Badge is both a profile badge and Champion point reward for contributing to our Community feedback surveys and UX testing. Thank you for making this Community a better place!
CAB Participation
The Brightspace Community Advisory Board (CAB) is part of a mutual commitment to growing and developing this community together!
Our Community Advisory Board members meet quarterly to discuss and review upcoming changes to the Community, as well as hearing how we can improve. This roundtable helps in participating in user testing, early insights, and open discussions on how to build a quality experience with this community.
