About Class Technologies

Class Technologies partners with D2L to provide better engagement tools and analytics capabilities for online teaching and learning. The following documentation and resources will assist you in getting the most out of this tool.

Overview

Class is a synchronous online learning platform and virtual Classroom that adds training and learning tools to Zoom and Microsoft Teams. With Class, institutions using Brightspace can drive active learning, collaboration, and engagement in their online classes and virtual instructor-led training. Class is used by more than 10 million users from over 1,500 institutions worldwide.

Streamline Course Setup and Delivery: Save time spent on administrative tasks, like preparing sessions and rostering learners, with course templates and a real-time integration with D2L Brightspace to synchronize rosters, content, and grades.

Class Technologies Availability and Enablement

Class Technologies is a paid add-on purchase to the Core Brightspace package within the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. If you have questions about this integration or are interested in accessing Class Technologies at your institution, please contact your Account Manager.
