I have already created assignments and created grade items for them. I would like to change the assignment grading from numeric to be able to select from a drop down menu based on a grading scheme that I have already created. How do I do this?

Keep students in LDB between quiz attempts
Is there a way to keep a student in the LDB during a quiz with multiple attempts? In a quiz of this structure, students can access their computer, their notes and the web during the exam time. Perhaps there is a strategy we are not aware of.

Formula grade items - weighted?
I'm trying to create a gradebook item that gives the maximum of two other grades, and this new grade should be worth 30% of the course grade. Delayed feedback
I'd like to be able to delay showing correct/incorrect responses to a question until the learner has attempted a quiz/question a set number of times. This would let me give them feedback after they've given honest effort without immediately showing the answer. Does anyone know how to do this?

Competency assessment type
Can competencies be linked to an assessment type other than rubric or numeric? I've experimented with adding some pass/fail grade items to my gradebook; however the competency structure tool only shows numeric and rubric as possible grade types. Can any other grade item types be used?
