Anonymous participation in a survey

Hi D2L Community,

I am setting up a survey in my course. I would like to make it an anonymous survey, but I would also like to offer a prize to the respondents.

I am aware that anonymous surveys can be set up on Brightspace. However, I am not sure if survey responses are anonymous, will I be able to know who has responded to include the respondents in a prize draw?

Hi Uzma. I'd say the answer to that is probably 'no'. What I'd do is include an optional survey question that allows them to give their name / email if they want to be included in the draw. You can then base it on the people who have responded to that question.
