Can't delete items from gradebook

I have several items that made their way into a course gradebook unintentionally and I am unable to delete them. I have been able to delete other items successfully from the gradebook in the 'manage grades' page; however, some of the items are greyed out, and can't be selected for delete (image below). The strange thing is, the associated pages were never added to the gradebook (just showed up), and have been deleted from course content and don't even exist in the course anymore. Having them still appear in the gradebook is confusing for learners because they want to know what's expected of them, and there is no associated activity to view.

How do I delete these other items?

It sounds like somethin wonky may be happening within your learning instance if you are not able to delete grade items. In this case, I recommend creating a support case so that our IT folks can have a closer look at what may be causing the issue.😀
