I'm trying to create a sort of fake identity verification experience for students in a course I'm helping to build. My intent is to present students with a single Content folder/unit. When selected, the splash page will include a Storyline interactive that simulates an optical scan, then directs them to an HTML page in…
Has anyone found a good strategy for releasing microlearning modules? I'm planning internal learning on Zoom and MS Office. There will be an initial set of modules on set up, configuration, and security I'd like to develop and release new modules once a month that focuses on a new tool or feature. This way we are not…
We want to create a course where the student has the option to choose between 2 different activities. Depending on their choice, the chosen content module will be displayed using the release condition tool. What would be the best way to implement this? Thanks
I keep having an issue where students don't realize they have an assignment to do because they haven't met the release condition and D2L has it completely hidden until the condition is met. I've tried making clear lists and calendars and sent notes that the assignments exist, but some students always miss the…

We need to grade each user individually, but we have different modules inside the course (3) with scorm objects from which we take grades for quizzes. However, we also have a guide…
I can set release conditions for grade item categories and discussion forums - is it possible to do the same for assignment categories and discussion categories? I have a course that is designed for multiple types of users and I want them to see only the assignments, quizzes, discussions, and grades that are relevant to…
We have several courses where learners are given 3 opportunities to retake a summative assessment. We'd like to make it possible for learners to retake the course if they fail the 3 assessment attempts, without having to manually reset progress. Is it possible to do this automatically?
I need to assign a release condition to a document that students need to download. There doesn't appear to be any direct way to do this. Assigning a release condition to a topic or an assignment etc, doesn't confirm that the download took place. Can anyone help me with a workaround?
Does changing the release conditions of digital badges or awards affect the participants who earned them previously or issued?
