Hi,
I want to give my Spring 2026 students some flexibility. For the midterm, they can choose between an Exam or a Paper.
Their final assessment is determined by that choice:
1) If they take the Midterm Exam, they must submit a Final Paper.
2) If they submit a Midterm Essay, they must take a Final Exam.
I've already set up release conditions so that the appropriate Final Assessment is unlocked based on their midterm choice.
However, I haven't found a way to prevent students from completing both the Midterm Exam and the Midterm Essay. Is there a way to restrict them from accessing one midterm assessment after they have completed the other?
