Please help! How can I try to mimic branching in Quizzes that's offered in surveys? Any creative workarounds? This was a request by an instructor, so I really appreciate any ideas!
Hi, At THUAS we are using surveys more and more. However, I would like to be able to display the answers the students gave but ONLY their own responses after they submitted their responses. I cannot find this option in Reports. How do I accomplish this? Kind regards, Jordi van Selm The Hague University of Applied Sciences…
An instructor created a survey with a written response question configured to allow students to upload a file. She wanted them to anonymously submit this file as peer reviews. But now that students have submitted, we can't find a way to see their uploaded/attached files as responses. They don't appear in Statistics or any…
We are making greater use of the Survey tool and a team member posed a compelling question: Is there such a thing as a tool in Brightspace that can scan survey results for offensive language so that they can be removed from compiled results? We were wondering if there was something that could accomplish this before survey…
My "administrator" role doesn't allow survey reports in courses, but it has all of the access in roles in permissions. I compared the "faculty" role permissions under the survey, and they can do it, but have less access. Is this a bug? Anyone else having issues with that?
Hello, I am looking to create a survey to go out to our employees regarding a topic that is not course-related. In my search, I found an article on how to set up a survey, but it seems to be related to surveying a course only. Anyway, If possible, could someone please provide me with the path to creating this? Thanks!
Hello I want to create a survey to capture learner feedback on individual courses and testing using Surveys to do this. I've created the survey on an individual course. When I go in as learner view, I cannot access it. I can see it via the nav bar survey icon, but cannot click. It is visible to learners On a test, the data…
At our institution, our nursing department uses anonymous surveys to collect feedback on their instructors and locations. They also require students to complete the survey before the instructor will finalize their grade. Is there a way to have a survey be both anonymous and to see if a student has completed a survey?…
Hi all, We have added surveys to our courses via Postman and they are functioning as expected. Recently, we had to make an alteration (making them all anonymous) and we managed to do this via a Postman runner using the datahub file SurveyObjects as input (OrgUnitId and SurveyId). When preparing the input to perform this…
I've manually created a survey in D2L for my students (I am not using the question library). However, I can’t find the setting to make one of my survey questions non-mandatory (ie optional) for my students… Any ideas, folks? Thanks in advance! James
