Individual Progress on Anonymous Surveys
At our institution, our nursing department uses anonymous surveys to collect feedback on their instructors and locations. They also require students to complete the survey before the instructor will finalize their grade.
Is there a way to have a survey be both anonymous and to see if a student has completed a survey? Reports and statistics will not show this and testing with "View Progress" under the Roster shows that anonymous surveys do not appear.

(Disclaimer: I am not a D2L employee, feel free to wait for a response from somebody more official).
I don't believe your Instrutors are going to be able to see the individual Survey completion user list, given that the responses are submitted anonymously.
Here's a workaround that you might consider.
Create a new "final task" such as Posting to a Discussion. Setup the Discussion to have a Release Condition based on the student submitting the Survey response.Students who have posted in the Discussion have "proven" that they have submitted the Survey response because it's the only way it becomes unlocked.
Hope this helps!

Sorry, ignore my post above!
I just did some testing and realized that Anonymous Surveys do not appear as an option for Release Conditions! -
@Nathan.G.332 Yes, unfortunately, Release Conditions was the first thing I considered, but … nope!

@B.D.5867 I don't think you can see the names of who submitted anonymous surveys within D2L, but you (or more likely, your D2L admins/data team) can join the Survey Attempts data set to the Users data set to get that information.
