There are a few things that we would like to constantly remind students of, without having to repeatedly send out blast emails. Is it possible to create a set of announcements and somehow have Brightspace rotate through them automaticaly? Or is there some kind of banner space like a billboard?

When creating an announcement in a course, the instructor doesn't see an option to send a copy to the students' email. How do you enable this? Or is it up to the student to enable that notification?
