How to Undo Announcement Sorting by Title

Hi Everyone,
I have a list of announcements that Iʻm using in a course. I had sorted them in an order that makes it easy for me to find and use and then accidentally hit the sort by title field at the top of the list of announcements. This seems to have resorted all my announcements for all my courses by title. I have used the More Actions menu to reorder my list but it still displays to me as sorted by title. How can I revert to the list as I had it ordered? Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for reaching out to us through the Community!

    Based on my investigation, when a user selects the Reorder option in the Announcement widget, the system continues to follow that sorting method and ignores the announcement dates. Currently, there is no option available to reset the sorting back to the default.

    As a workaround, if an instructor wants a specific announcement to appear at the top, they can use the "Pin to Top" feature.

    I also found a PIE item that appears to request similar functionality. I encourage you to upvote this idea if you'd like to see it considered in a future release:
