When you earn a badge or certificate in any Brightspace course, you can record it within My CPD Records.
To add an award to My CPD records
- Navigate to My CPD Records.
- Click the Add Record drop-down menu and select Add From Award.

- Select an award from the list. Click Next.

- Review the pre-filled award information and fill in the remaining fields.
- Select a Type for the record if available:
- Structured (the default option)
- Unstructured
- Select a Category for your award.
- Under Method, select one of the preset methods to achieve the desired skill.
- Specify Credit Hours and Credit Minutes spent for achieving the skill if available.
- Enter the Date Completed.
- Click Upload Evidence, if applicable. You can attach more than one type evidence, for example, a presentation or a certificate.
- Answer optional preset questions, for example, “How do you feel after the activity?”
- Click Save or Save Draft.
