Media Library

Media Library offers a consolidated media processing, storage, and streaming option for all audio-video materials. Any media files that you create are stored in the Media Library repository. Use Media Library's Media Player and the Record Webcam option to create content for discussions or assignments in Brightspace.

Note: Your capabilities in Media Library will vary depending on your institution. If a functionality is not available that you need, contact your or institution.

Visual Tour: Media Library

The Media Library main page. The Upload File and Create Recording buttons are at the top left. Below is the My Media and Recycle Bin buttons. The Filters drop-down menu appears at the top right next to the Search bar. A video assignment's drop-down menu is open to show all options.

Upload File: Add a file from your personal device.
Create Recording: Capture audio-video content directly in Media Library.
My Media: View all your audio-video content.
Recycle Bin: See recently-deleted audio-video content.
Filters: Sort audio-video content by Content Type, Source, Date Modified, and Date Created.
Search bar: Search for specific audio-video content.
Recording drop-down menu: Access options for your audio-video content like Preview, Download, Edit, Rename, Edit Description, and Delete.
