When you earn a badge or certificate in any Brightspace course, it displays on Pending Records of your CPD.
To add an award to your CPD records
- Navigate to Continuous Professional Development > Pending Records.
- Click next to an award and select Add to my CPD.
| Note: You can select Dismiss Record to add it to the Dismissed Records list. |
- Enter a Name for the new record.
- Select a Type for the record:
- Structured (the default option)
- Unstructured
- Under Subject, select one of the preset subjects to specify a skill that should be achieved.
- Under Method, select one of the preset methods to achieve the desired skill.
- Specify Credit Hours and Credit Minutes spent for achieving the skill.
- Specify a Date Completed.
- Click Upload Evidence, if applicable. You can attach more than one evidence, for example, a presentation or a certificate.
- Answer optional preset questions, for example, “How will you apply learnings from this PD in your work?”
- Click Save or Save Draft.
