Can Brightspace be set up to deliver in-LMS alerts to students on Teams?
Our organisation has set up the Brightspace Course Connector for Microsoft Teams which has allowed classes to be set up on Teams. To expand on this integration, as a point of interest, I'd like to know if Brightspace can send LMS notifications/ alerts to students on Teams in addition to the standard notifications they would only receive on the LMS itself. This would cover notifications and alerts such as announcements, discussion alerts, approaching deadlines, certificates issued etc etc. We have considered further exploring Intelligent Agents but these seem to only deliver configured notifications to Outlook.

Thank you for your question.Brightspace cannot natively deliver LMS alerts (announcements, discussions, deadlines, etc.) directly into Microsoft Teams.
The Teams Course Connector focuses on provisioning (teams, enrollment sync), not notifications.
Currently, Brightspace notifications are delivered via email and Brightspace Pulse (push notifications), and as you mentioned, Intelligent Agents can automate alerts, but these are limited to email delivery, not Teams.
