April 2025/20.25.04 Preview Release Notes are now live and ready for review!
Please note, this is only a preview for the upcoming Brightspace version, which we will begin to roll out on April 3, 2025.
All features described are subject to change before then.

Updated the Brightspace API – Bulk retrieval of grade values by user, org unit, or parent org unit | New release note to indicate that the Grades > Retrieve Grade Values for Course Offering Descendants (API Only) permission is newly introduced.
Updated the Awards – Replacement strings for award issuer on certificates | New release note to clarify the behavior of conditionally-issued certificates with replacement strings.

- Updated the Courses – New enhanced and accessible experience in production environments | New release note to include updated clarification about Form Elements and configuration variables.
- Added the Data Hub – Larger Version data in Creator+ Brightspace Data Sets | Updated release note. This feature was originally released without full documentation.

- Updated the release announcement about the Course API GET call to edit the LocaleId field name.

Thanks! Customer question re. new window icon: Is it correct to assume that the icon will only appear in Brightspace system menus and not for any links that they create and choose that the links should open in “New window”…?
