Auto grading a SCORM activity
Hello fellow "Brightspacers"! How can we make a SCORM activity receive a grade automatically in the gradebook once completed? The activity has been set up in the gradebook and given a grade scheme, but when the learner completes it, it is not showing up as complete and graded in the gradebook. The SCORM settings have been set properly as well. Any suggestions?
Re: Release Notes Updates
Hello @Allard.N.654 😊 I see. Due to vacations we have reviewed both July and August at the same time and did not notice that the new look is part of the package of features introduced in July, controlled by d2l.Tools.Content.EnableLessonsEnhancedTOC. Still, it is not mentioned directly in the July notes either, but at least now we know what controls it. Great 😊
Thank you Allard!
Re: Release Notes Updates
@Birgitte.B.96 I think it was the July release already, see
However, in our case it was only changed after updating the config variable, as mentioned in the release notes.
Re: Data Hub - classlist enrollment across multiple courses
Hello. For example, we run 7 or 8 of the same leadership qualification over the year. I would be looking for a report which gives me those people across all courses for data such as assignment submission progress and completions. so having all current ILM learners in one report rather than having to go into each course separately. not sure if there is such a report? another example might just be the number of learners across all PRINCE2 courses for the year

Re: Different time zones
Hi Mehrnaz,
Thanks for reaching out again.
I've tested the time zone settings internally for Africa, Asia, and Oceania, and they appear to be working as expected. When I compared a user's time zone to the default time zone of an assignment or quiz, the due date and time adjusted correctly based on the user's account settings.
Could you please try checking again to see if you can still replicate the issue with those specific time zones?
If you're still experiencing a problem, I recommend opening a support case with our team. Please include the following details so we can investigate more thoroughly:
- The affected user's name and timezone.
- Specific details about the assignment, quiz, or event.
Best regards,
Vivek
Re: Brightspace activity evaluation pages not loading properly in new tabs
I'm not sure if this thread had anything to do with it, but the problem seems to be fixed now. Thanks.
Re: How can students print multiple slides per page from D2L?
Hi G.P.3909
Thank you for your question. Can you please explain where the student is trying to print multiple pages?
Here is one way:
For Windows (PDF or PowerPoint)
- Download the file from Brightspace.
- Open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader (for PDFs) or PowerPoint.
- Go to File > Print or press
Ctrl + P. - In the Print dialog:
- : •For PDFs: Click Multiple under "Page Sizing & Handling".
- For PowerPoint: Under "Settings", choose Handouts and select the number of slides per page (e.g., 3, 4, 6).
- Adjust other settings (orientation, borders, etc.).
- Click Print.
For Mac (PDF or PowerPoint)
- Open the downloaded file in Preview (PDF) or PowerPoint.
- Go to File > Print or press
Command + P. - In the print dialog:: •For PDFs: Expand Layout options and choose Pages per Sheet.
- For PowerPoint: Use the Handouts option to select slides per page.
- Click Print.
