Re: Learning path creation
@Colt.K.2845 We've handled this by either using one quiz with weights on the answer choices (100% for option A, 50% for option B, 0% for option C) on a MC question, so that the release condition can be based on score on a quiz; or by using self-enroll groups so that the release condition is based on group enrollment. Either way, the modules will be hidden from students until they take the quiz or self-enroll, and then the appropriate module will be released to them.

Re: D2L is Reheating PIE!
Can I make a suggestion that placing brand new submissions in a category of "NOT UNDER CONSIDERATION" in upper case red text feels totally counter to what I understood to be the purpose of PIE, and unnecessarily dismissive of the genuine pain points with the platform that clients are sharing with you.
It feels like a red reject stamp has been put on the idea before the community has had a chance to comment on whether this is also an issue for them.
A rewording to something like "Awaiting community feedback" (and not in red text) would better aligned with what I understood PIE to be about, and more respectful to people who are taking the time to share their ideas.

Is there a way to change the displayed course name as a student enrolled in the class?
Re: How do you duplicate a module in the same course?
Thank you!
It is not a pleasant surprise especially to those of us transitioning from LMS platforms that had that capability.
Maybe a moderator could add this to a wish list…🧐

Re: Why is the button to turn in an assignment named differently depending on how you get to it?
Hi @Lisa.C.417,
Thank you for your question.
The difference in button labels “Upload” and “Add a File” is simply a wording variation within the Brightspace interface and does not reflect any functional difference.
Unfortunately, there is currently no setting available to standardize or change these labels.
The best workaround is to clarify instructions for students by referencing both terms where applicable. If you would like to see a consistent label across all areas, you may wish to submit a PIE (Product Idea Exchange) item or upvoting an existing one that matches your use case. This will ensure our development team is aware of your request and can consider it for future releases.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Rachna
Re: Welcome to Creator +
Thank you for your detailed feedback @Jane.O.1385! It's encouraging to see that this course is getting attention and your comments help improve it for all users!
I have fixed most of the issues you identified. The "funky text" may need a little more investigation, as its a styling issue on mobile. The display issues on Vertical Tabs may not be fixable at this time, but I can pass the feedback along to our developers.
Feel free to send along any other comments!

Re: Help with PUT to Quiz API – 400 JSON Binding Error
Hello,
Firstly, using the exact formatting from your GET will not work in many cases like this. It's pretty important that you always look back to the documentation provided online by D2L for what a PUT or POST requires. Here's a direct link to the documentation for updating or creating a new Quiz:
In particular it sounds like you are not formatting the various composite:RichTextInput values.
Whenever you see a { composite:RichTextInput } field in a JSON example, that stands in for a composite block like this:
{
"Content": <string>,
"Type": "Text|Html"
}
You will need to use this formatting for Instructions > Text, Description > Text, Header > Text, and Footer > Text.
Hope this helps!

Re: assignment submission notifications
Re: D2L is Reheating PIE!
I wonder if the "gatekeeping" of D2L Support to only allow a handful of approved individuals (ASCs) in each institution to contact them is part of the reason why bugs and feature requests end up in PIE?
Our ASCs are busy people, having them be the go-between on a simple bug report (with the implied expectation that they will need to spend time understanding the issue and testing it) might be a reason why people take the apparent shortcut?

Re: D2L is Reheating PIE!
@Tommy.O.141 I have to say I disagree with the use of the PIE solely as a repository for "pie in the sky" ideas. Maybe if there were fewer persistent bugs/limitations/UX issues on the current platform, I would be more amenable to the idea. But as it stands, I think there is a lot of work that needs to be done on known (and long standing) issues before pursuing pie in the sky.
