Web cam and window sharing submission to assignment

Hello,

I have a use case where students need to 1) record with their webcam and 2) share a desktop recording as part of a single assignment submission.

I see that the text editor supports video recording, but it doesn’t allow desktop sharing like the Media Library does. Is there a straightforward way to enable this workflow directly within Assignments?

    Unfortunately, it seems that this workflow is not currently available from the Assignments tool itself at present.

    Users can create presentations via Capture Web - Media Library but this workflow is not currently supported in the Assignments tool.

    However, I wanted to bring to your attention the possibility of suggesting the addition of this feature in the Product Idea Exchange platform. I believe this would make a valuable feature addition. I encourage you to submit it to our Product Idea Exchange on the Brightspace Community.

    Your Idea will initially be reviewed by a triage team to ensure that your Idea is clear, all required information has been completed, it is not a duplicate, and PIE guidelines have been followed. At this point, your Idea will not be visible to other customers. If there are any questions on your Idea, it will be returned to you with detailed reasons, and you will be able to correct and resubmit.
