Quiz Options
Hi! We are new to Brightspace (coming from Blackboard). One of our faculty members would like to alter the points of a quiz AFTER it has been taken. For example, if 12 of her 15 students get a question wrong, she wants to remove it from the quiz or remove points from that question. In Bb, you can do this. Can it be done in Brightspace?

Hi Beth!
First off, welcome! The Brightspace Community is thrilled you're here.
My name is Owen and I would love to offer up an assist here. You can absolutely edit a quiz after it has been taken by students, and this is something that, like your faculty member wants to do, is proving to be a highly useful feature for instructors. I've attached an article below on how to do so, that walks you through the set-up steps!
Here it is:
If this doesn't quite get at your Q, please feel free to follow-up in this thread and I'll be happy to jump back in and help find another solution.
Cheers!

Thank you, Owen! I will share this with our faculty member, and circle back to let you know how it goes!

Hi again, Owen! She wants to be able to do it after the quiz has been taken (after she looks to see what questions many got wrong), so on the website it says:
'Quiz content and score edits do not apply to completed attempts or attempts in progress. Previous quiz attempts reflect the quiz content and scoring as it appeared to each learner at the exact time they started their attempt."
Is there any way to change it after the quiz is taken?

Hi Beth!
I see. I believe that further down the article there might be some help specific to this use case.
Here's the link:
I've also attached a useful article that echos the page above ^ from our friends over at Vanderbilt.
Here's that link:
Hope these help!
Cheers,
Owen

@Beth.R.9700 There are different ways to change quiz points to fix grades depending on what the final maximum points in the gradebook should be.
