Is there a way to turn off the automated Award Earned Notification?

In the Mail templates, there's one for Award Earned Notification. Is there a way to turn this off? We'd prefer to use an Intelligent Agent to notify users.

Yes, use the following config from the Config Variable Browser:

d2l.Tools.Awards.AwardEmail

Maybe you can provide feedback to the Brightspace Community team - I was searching for "mail template" keywords and could only find this admin documentation: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4753-manage-award-icons-and-templates . I would have expected information about the associated config variable to be in here too. Or to be referenced in https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4283-set-up-mail-templates .
