🏆 Community Spotlight 2024: Mike Chung 🏆
A quick round of applause for Mike Chung, Manager of Learning Technology at Robertson College, and a 2024 Fusion Lab participant.
Mike supports Brightspace and the use of H5P at his organization. He works closely with departments to improve the learner experience through smart tech integration.
Mike is a strong advocate of the Product Idea Exchange (PIE) and encouraging colleagues to share suggestions and help shape the future of Brightspace! His tip? Use the Learning Object Repository for shared content updates to save time and reduce duplication.
Re: Print a quiz
Hi @Denee.H.77
Printing a quiz in Brightspace is getting a whole lot easier!
Administrators can use a free tool called the Quiz Printer Widget for Brightspace Quizzes to print quizzes and answer keys
Coming August 2025 we're releasing a feature "Print a Quiz to be Taken Offline" right in Brightspace that will offer Instructors a way to print a quiz that may include any "native Brightspace question type, shuffling, question pools, and multiple versions as well as an answer key"
Re: What does 'quiz entry, switched tab' denote in the Attempt logs on quizzes?
Hello Everyone - thank you for raising these questions and concerns. We have made the decision to remove the logging "Switched Tab" events and re-evaluate it for a future release. Please see the fixed article indicating it will be removed with the January 2024 release. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
UPDATE (June 2025): Hello Everyone – just wanted to update this thread with some additional information. In the May 2025 release we provided a new option to improve quiz monitoring – by including Session Ids in Attempt Logs. This allows Instructors to discern when learners have used multiple sessions within a quiz attempt. Also – Instructors can access a detailed overview of the various features available within our Quiz tool, designed to support the promotion and maintenance of Academic Integrity in Quizzes.

(Original reply from October 2024 below for reference):
Hi @mmagee@georgebrown.ca! Thank you for connecting with Brightspace Community. We value your feedback and appreciate you patience.
While printing out quizzes isn't a feature yet, we collect recommendations like yours in Product Idea Exchange (PIE), where educators can submit new ideas and upvote existing ones they'd like to see implemented. There is a corresponding PIE item under consideration, which you can upvote to further support your suggestion and help shape our Product Roadmap!
You can view it here:
**Note you'll need to log into community to access the PIE item.
For a quick resolution, please check out this Community discussion for a workaround on printing your quiz:
Hope this helps!
Re: Is there a listing of Brightspace data sets that are limited to two years of historical data?
Hi @Miguel.B.106 and @Charles.K.718 - sorry for the late response but I just came across this thread.
Please be aware that the list of Brightspace Data Sets listed above are no longer date/time limited - but instead they adhere to the standard 150 million rows limit as documented in the Data Hub documentation:
https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/4507-about-data-hub#data-limits
In the past those BDSs were limited by date/time - but that has not been the case since the end of 2024.
