Within the sector, there is interest in student engagement with feedback. Using the tools in D2L it is not possible to capture all the ways that a student may have accessed their feedback. Do you have plans to look at this as it is a huge hole in your analytical provision?

If you have Performance+ you can definitely do this in Insights Reports Builder, or if not through the data sets and an analysis tool of your choice. They don't make it easy though, last time I tried to get survey results out I think I ended having to join about 6 tables together.

Instructors have the option to manually or have Brightspace automatically distribute the weights across the grade items. See the section Grading in https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/3553-manage-grades-in-the-grades-tool#create-a-grade-category

What does 'Manage Files' in the Tool Access report refer to?

The Tool Access report shows a table and a pie chart representing the percentage of overall views for each tool within a selected timeframe. One of the tools is 'Manage Files'. It is unlikely to be referring to the file management tool which is not accessible to students. (In the image, only the 'Student' role was selected, yet it shows that 'Manage Files' was viewed.

Perhaps 'Manage Files' in the Tool Access report refer to content file views (e.g. a file accessed from Content tool). Also, how is the number of views for the 'Content' tool calculated? Does viewing a file in the Content tool be counted as a view of the Content tool as well?

None Completion Report

Hello,

Is there a way of exporting from a class list, those who have not completed or accessed the course?

We have released a new course and I need to enrol all individuals who did not complete the prior course. Is their an easy way of gaining this data. There are over 450 people in the class and I need a list of who has not completed the course.

I am wondering how to use grade book.

I have all my classes in one course. Can I set up gradebook so that I can get a mark for each course? For example: can I set it up so that all my term two Science quizzes are averaged and then all my term 2 math quizzes are averaged?

Grading with an IPad

I Love grading reports/papers with an IPAD but the submission tool is really hard to use without making a ton of mis writes when scrolling. Any chance of fixing that system?

The recording durations limits are controlled by the config d2l.Tools.MediaPlatform.RecordingDurationLimit ( for the video note) and d2l.Tools.AudioCapture.MaxDuration for Audio Note and Record Audio workflow, seconds.
