Search functions and Searchability within Brightspace Classes
Hi! I'm wondering about the search features in Brightspace and how to utilize them if they exist. Is there an internal Brightspace way to incorporate a search function into a large class for the users? I would hope the search function would allow for a user to enter any words and then multiple avenues be identified to explore?
For example, once inside a class (content) could you search for "pythagorean theorem" and be shown the multiple places that this lives within that class? And also provide links to those places?
I'm curious if we've just missed a possible switch/button that we could turn on for this function? Fingers crossed!

In addition to what Stef mentioned, Spanish is one of our core language packs and users can set their preferred language in their profile.
Re: Learner progress bar in New Content Experience (Lessons)
Thanks Stan! I've added the Class Progress to the navbar to overcome this issue. Still unfortunate that learners can't quickly see what items they have missed in the content.

As far as I know . . . you can't. I typically inform the student that they submitted to the wrong folder and need to resubmit before I can grade the assignment.

Please note, this is only a preview for the upcoming Brightspace version, which we will begin to roll out on 7 March 2024. All features described are subject to change before then.
Also, the February 2024/20.24.2 Release Notes have been republished to include the following changes:
- Updated Bongo – Provide tailored feedback using Learning Outcomes with AI Coaching and Smart Scoring features | New to improve clarity of the feature description.
- Updated Data Hub – Brightspace Data Sets improvements for February | Updated to remove all changes to the Course Copy Logs BDS. These updates will be available in a future release.
