Re: What drives the "No Response" stat in Quiz Statistics?
Hello @Maureen.B.923,
Thank you for reaching out via Brightspace Community!
Testing results indicate that when previewing a quiz and exiting without submitting, "No Response" is being logged in the Question Details within View Statistics.
This behavior is related to an existing defect (02141580). Our development team is currently reviewing the issue, but we do not yet have an estimated timeline for the fix.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we work on a resolution.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Thanks and Regards,

Re: Possibility of wordcount menu in Discussion Post Page
Hi @Adeyemi.A.8548,
Thank you for reaching out in the Brightspace Community.
Based on what you are describing, I would like to suggest to have a support agent take a closer look at things.
Your first step is to connect with your school or organization’s Help Desk to create a support request.
If you’re not sure how to do this, email us at questions@community.d2l.com with the name of your school or organization and we can provide the contact details.
Thanks, Ana
Re: Possibility of wordcount menu in Discussion Post Page
Hi Adeyemi,
Thanks for bringing your question to the Brightspace Community, it's a good one!
My name is Owen and I'm happy to assist here. I've attached an article that walks through how to check word count directly in the Brightspace platform itself (without that annoying copying / pasting over and over again)
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Owen

Re: Can you bulk download annotated documents
Hello @Sue.S.4,
Thank you for contacting the D2L Brightspace Community!
Currently, it is only possible to download annotated assignments one at a time.
I further looked into this and there's already a feature request submitted for this on our Product Idea Exchange:
Bulk Download Student Assignments & Annotations (D6498)
I would highly recommend upvoting this item in order for it to be considered in future iterations of Brightspace.
Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Pulkit

Re: Where can I find the Criterion ID and Levels Ids for a rubric I created?
Hey Patricia, you're absolutely on the right track but the Rubrics API you mentioned at the end of your post is a little awkward to use - it requires the rubric to be associated with something, and then you can fetch the rubric based on that association. (See for information about this route)
First, you'll need to have your rubric associated with something - an assignment, a quiz, etc. These will map to the various EVAL_T values shown here:
. This will be the objectType query parameter you need for the rubrics API.
You will then also need to know the objectId of the thing it's associated with, so that will be the assignment ID, quiz ID, etc. The easiest way to find this will likely be the API that lists all of the assignments, quizzes, etc. in a course. To use assignments as an example,
will list all assignments in a course, and then if you find the assignment your rubric is associated with, it will have an Id value. That is the objectId value you will need for the rubrics API.
You can then call the API you were calling with those values, with a special note that the only version for that API right now is unstable, so your final URL will look something like /d2l/api/le/unstable/<orgUnitId>/rubrics?objectType=Dropbox&objectId=5
Hope that helps - this is definitely not the easiest API to use!
Re: Learners Cannot See Rubrics
The answer was in students' permission to see competencies. We don't use these, so we don't care whether they are visible, but perhaps we hid them while troubleshooting another rubric issue earlier in the month. Without competencies being visible, rubrics can't be seen — at least in our version.
