Question flag
Hi,
is there a way or a plugin that can be used to flag a question in a Quiz? The idea is that a learner would have an option to answer a question or if they are not sure flag it for review so they can re-visit it before submitting their quiz.
There is a similar thing in Product Idea Exchange: https://desire2learn.brightidea.com/ideas/D6666, but I was wondering if anybody has a working solution.

Yes, there is a tool called Quick Eval that provides the functionality I think you are looking for:
Quick Eval offers evaluators a single location to view all learner submissions that are awaiting evaluation. Submissions made to Assignments, Quizzes, and Discussions are displayed in a sortable list and can be selected to take you directly to their assessment page.

If the tool is not enabled in your institutions Brightspace environment please connect with your online learning and teaching administration team to see if the Quick Eval tool can be enabled.

As noted by Brian.S.372 this appears to be a known defect 02056986. Please open a case with the D2L support team to note you are experiencing the issue and you'll be notified when a fix is rolled out. From what I can determine the sort order when printing is defined by the users userid. This is an auto generated value when a user account is created in Brightspace.
One workaround would be to copy the content of the page a drop it into excel, and sorting the values as needed. Alternatively, if you have access to the datahub tool or can request the Enrolments and Withdrawals dataset from your Brightspace admin team. This dataset contains the classlist information you need. How can students be aware of their current final grade if the system registers all submissions as lowest grade until they meet the dropped number? For instance, if an instructor has a weekly quiz but only counts the highest 7/12 (and sets the gradebook to drop the lowest 5), the system won't start calcuating quiz scores as part of the final grade until they take quiz 6. This seems to defeat the transparency of the gradebook. how do we ensure they show in the final grade calculations from day 1?

Welcome to the Brightspace Community.
It seems like you have only added the title of your inquiry, but not your question itself.
In case you are wondering about how to remove multiple tests from your Gradebook, you will have to first follow a manual workflow of dissociating each of these grade items from their respective quizzes and then bulk delete by selecting each undesired grade item > More Options > Deleted.

Yes, that is exactly what I do. I was hoping since Brightspace is a computer thing, and computers are good at automating tedious tasks like this, and this is a tedious thing that thousands of college teachers do every year, BS would already have this functionality.
Looking through the feature request site I don't have much confidence that requesting features will provide a positive ROI even for the 5-10 minutes' investment it would take to do that.

A quick way to troubleshoot the API Service User role permission issue is to access the Brightspace UI with the API Service user account used to make the API calls. If in the UI and you can/cannot perform the action you want to perform through an API call, you'll need to adjust the role permissions accordingly. Also make sure you have included all the necessary Scopes for your application.
