Where are the new question types?
While I was interested to read about the "Release of the New Quiz Evaluation Experience", I was disappointed to see no related plans to improve the range of question types available on the platform or the workflows required to create them. In fact, with the removal of support for Ordering and Matching, the update now supports fewer question types than before. Where are the drag and drop questions? Where are the hot spot questions? The community has been asking for them for more than a decade. Where is an improved workflow for creating Fill in the Blank questions? I summarized the limitations of BrightSpace quiz question types on PIE request D9656 (now at 236 votes) and @Joseph.Verble2213 called for improvements in D6377 (now at 295 votes). Is the expectation that we admit defeat and pay for yet another LTI tool like Atomic Jolt to obtain these functionalities? Or should we be looking toward D2L's recent acquisition of H5P Group for changes to the quiz tool? Re the latter, my sense is, the 30+ H5P question types will be used to supplement Creator+ offerings rather than making their way into the standard BrightSpace quiz tool. Some guidance re future plans for the standard question types available in BrightSpace quizzes would be helpful.

Hey Mike! We have plans, but nothing public yet. Please keep an eye on the Public Roadmap for any updates there.

Hi Mike - although the new Quiz Evaluation Experience does not support some question types (like matching or ordering) yet - we do have plans to continue to improve the new experience, including supporting more question types in the future.
Also - be aware that we have not removed support for those question types within quizzing - they just aren't supported within the new evaluation experience yet. You are able to switch back to the legacy evaluation experience when you encounter an unsupported question type. With regards to H5P - we are working on integrating H5P questions within the quizzing tool - we are targeting that to be released early in the New Year so watch the release notes (and/or Product Preview) for that news! You are correct - that integration of H5P into quizzing will be part of the Creator + package.
As always - thanks for your feedback!
