Multi select quiz points / remove X cross from results

Good morning,

I have 2 questions:

  1. I've created multiple multiselect Q quizzes, I would like a student to be able to select any correct answer and get full marks instead of 0.2/0.33 etc per answer - ie there are 4 correct answers, student selects 2 and gets the full 1 point. Is there any way I can do this?
  2. When the student views their results (multi select Q quiz) they currently see a red cross by every wrong answer, arrow by the correct, not selected answer and a tick by the correct answer, is there anyway I can remove this whilst still displaying the students choices? I really want to be able to see all the answers, which ones the student selected then all the correct answers highlighted/remove the red crosses

    Hello @Jessica.T.7773, thanks for your question!

    I investigated your multi-select query, but since we don't have custom weights available for the question type, I haven't been able to work out a solution for you. You can only select one option, but I might suggest using the multiple choice question type, since it would allow for custom weights, which you could set to 100 for each answer option.

    For the display of a completed quiz, without your students seeing the correct/incorrect answer icons, I would set the display options to "All questions, without correct answers". You can find this in the quiz edit area, under Evaluation & Feedback:

    I would like to add that this functionality is not currently available for Multi‑Select question types, and there are no options to customize how correct or incorrect answers are displayed in Quiz Results.

    While this isn't a feature yet, we collect feedback and ideas in Product Idea Exchange (PIE), where educators can submit new ideas and upvote existing ones they'd like to see implemented.

    Please also consider using the Multiple‑Choice question type as previously suggested, as it may better support the behavior you are looking for.
