HTML in Emailed Notifications

Hi all,

We're exploring some additional ways to connect with students. One simple way we're looking at is some modifications to how notifications of emails appear when they are sent to our College email.  Currently, a notification of an email message in Brightspace by defaults sends and email to the users College email has well.  However, these email notifications do not preserve any HTML formatting, which is present when viewed in Brightspace.  Is there any global setting that would allow us to preserve HTML in these notifications or can they only be sent plain text?

HTML formatting options are currently not available in Email notifications.

While this isn't a feature yet, we collect feedback and ideas in Product Idea Exchange (PIE), where educators can submit new ideas and upvote existing ones they'd like to see implemented.
