Awards not issuing automatically

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone is having trouble with awards that are meant to be issued automatically (based on release conditions)… but they are not being issued even though the release conditions are met. Seems like it might have started around July 15/25.

    Thanks for reaching out. I have seen a similar situation recently where a change in the release conditions caused awards to stop issuing automatically, even though the conditions appeared to be met.

    Could you please submit a support case so we can investigate this more closely and resolve it? One of our team members can then investigate further and follow up directly with you.

    We might be having he same issue, and it might be related to the Awards – Replacement strings for award issuer on certificates. I changed the d2l.Tools.Awards.AwardUserId config variable from the default 169, just before we started to have issues. We have reverted and I am waiting to see if things start working again. It might be related to the role of the user that replaces the default 169.

    Update: We changed the d2l.Tools.Awards.AwardUserId config variable back to the default 169, and everything started working again. It fixed the issue, but not retroactively.
