How to import grades in D2L with different grading items in shells

Hello D2L community,

I have a question in regards to the import of the grades. I know there is manual and automatic import fo grade items in D2L, but our situation is a little different.

We need to copy grades from one shell to another. however, in the first shell our students have SCORM objects as graded items, and in the second one - we have the same SCORMs BUT they are not graded anymore since we are transferring their final quizzes into NATIVE quizzes in D2L (so those are becoming a graded item)

Is there any advice on how to still bulk import grades but when there are different grade items in shells? Is it even a roadblock? Or it will not affect the copying process?

Hello Marina,

Sadly, there isn’t a mapping field available that would permit the import of grades from one Case to another
Course that doesn't have the same Grade items.
Based on the details shared, I recommend trying to copy the Grade items in the target Course, and then proceed with importing the Grades; however, unfortunately, this is a manual process.
