Is the "Brightspace Catalyst Award for Student Success" still a thing? I cannot find any information about it. Please advise.

Krizzy here :) I did my own search and talked to a few folks within the department, and there doesn’t seem to be a current award called the “Brightspace Catalyst Award for Student Success.” However, I’d love to connect you to the D2L Excellence Awards! D2L does recognize outstanding work in education through the D2L Excellence Awards. These awards celebrate individuals and organizations that have leveraged Brightspace to drive student success, foster innovation, and improve learning outcomes at scale. Winners are often highlighted at Fusion, D2L’s annual conference, and their stories are shared to inspire the broader learning community.

I think you got the LMS vendors confused as the catalyst awards are from Blackboard/Anthology

It wasn't Blackboard ((I already have a Blackboard Catalyst Award) but I must have confused/misremembered the facts.

The D2L Excellence Awards you referenced in your reply seem to be mainly for organizations, as it appears all but two of the listed winners for the last four years have been organizations. If that’s true, D2L might want to also consider awards more specifically aimed at individuals. 😀
Hi @John.T.67 I think it's a great suggestion! It does look like we're expanding the number and types of awards offered- we just announced a brand new Partners Award series, launching at Fusion this year! I really like this idea and will definitely share it with our Colleagues here at D2L. There are some other cool ways folks can be recognized as Educators including through Spotlights, and Learning Center Contributions (Really smart, generous folks do this sometimes😀🥳📰)
