How to lock the units in D2L Brightspace New Experience

Hello D2L Community,

I am working on a project, and we have made our modules using Articulate. We pasted them into the course shells as SCORM Objects with a window player. We use new learner experience.

The challenge we are facing is that we require a passing score in a final quiz of the modules (we have 3). However, with embedded player or a window one, the students can freely access other modules in the course shell. They are always visible to students.

I do not want to manually unhide modules for each of the students. Is there a way to make modules appear only if a students gets 80% or higher on a certain grade item?

You help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Marina.S.2225 ,

You can add a Release Condition to the Module that is tied to a Grade Item which will not allow it to be accessible until a learner has met the criteria you set forth.

Go to the module you want to lock down > Click on the ellipsis … > View Release Conditions > Click Create

Select the Condition Type from the menu options

Add the Condition criteria > Click Create
