Printer Friendly D2L Quizzes
I am required to print my digital D2L quizzes, for a student whose accommodation requires paper copies of assessments. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a print option directly from D2L.
The two workarounds that we have been provided:
1 - D2L says to print-screen and paste into a Word document. This does not create an assessable document that screen readers can use, since the printed document is simply pictures.
2 - Our college uses Respondus to access the D2L Quizzes for printing. I have been able to print some quizzes. But other quizzes do not print and instead give an error message, which I have attached in the image.
To comply with our learning accommodations, assessments created in our LMS must have the ability to provide printed copies. In the short term, I am hoping to learn how to resolve the error message I am receiving, so I can print my remaining quizzes. In the long term, I am hoping there can be a more efficient way to access printer-friendly versions of D2L Quizzes.
Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Update:
Hi @mmagee@georgebrown.ca, just wanted to share a quick update!
Printing a quiz in Brightspace is getting a whole lot easier! Administrators can use a free tool called the Quiz Printer Widget for Brightspace Quizzes to print quizzes and answer keys.
Coming August 2025 we're releasing a feature "Print a Quiz to be Taken Offline" right in Brightspace that will offer Instructors a way to print a quiz that may include any "native Brightspace question type, shuffling, question pools, and multiple versions as well as an answer key"
Let us know if you have any questions - we'll be happy to help!

Hi @mmagee@georgebrown.ca! Thank you for connecting with Brightspace Community. We value your feedback and appreciate you patience.
While printing out quizzes isn't a feature yet, we collect recommendations like yours in Product Idea Exchange (PIE), where educators can submit new ideas and upvote existing ones they'd like to see implemented. There is a corresponding PIE item under consideration, which you can upvote to further support your suggestion and help shape our Product Roadmap!
You can view it here:
**Note you'll need to log into community to access the PIE item.
