Will the matching question type be updated so it works with the New Quiz Eval Experience?

I read in the release notes https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/26499-september-2024-20-24-9#quizzes-optimize-productivity-with-an-improved-quiz-evaluation-experience-new that the New Quiz Evaluation Experience doesn't currently support matching questions. Is there a plan for them to be supported in the future, or will they be phased out (and/or replaced by an alternative question type)?

    Hi Janet.O,

    Unfortunately at this stage we do not have any timeline to share regarding the support of matching, arithmetic, significant figures, and multi-short answer question types in the New Quiz Evaluation Experience.

    I recommend opening a case with the D2L support team, or connecting with your institutions Customer Success Manager requesting support of the unsupported question types. Information will also be shared through the Release Information and Release Notes Updates.
