How to differentiate SUBMITTED Evaluations & Quizzes from opened?

Hello, we are not clear.
When a student opens an Evaluation or Quiz, Brightspace shows instructors an orange dot to indicate that the Evaluation or Quiz was opened.
But once a student SUBMITS the Evaluation or Quiz, meaning the Evaluation or Quiz can now be marked, we do not see any differentiation nor notifications, just the same orange dot. This means an instructor has to open each individual students' Evaluation or Quiz one at a time to see if the student has submitted it for marking.

Hi Dr M,
For the Quiz and Assignments tools you have additional search options enabling you to filter for learners with/without submissions, attempts in progress and so forth depending on the tool.
For a Quiz
- navigate to the Quiz
- select Grade from the Actions menu
- select either the Users or Attempts tab
- select Show Search Options
- select the appropriate search filter from the Restrict to dropdown
- select the search icon
See
For an Assignment
- navigate to the Assignment
- select View Submissions from the Actions menu
- select either the Users or Submissions tab
- select Show Search Options
- select the appropriate search filter from the:
- Submissions from the Users tab
- Read status dropdown for the Submission tab
- Submissions from the Users tab
- select the search icon
If you are not currently using the QuickEval tool this may also be useful to Instructors, see
